The green Rokko mountain range stretches 30km from east to west. It is known as one of the best outdoor leisure zones not only in kobe, but also in the kansai area. The view of the city and the port from Mt.Rokko has been praised as the Ten Million Dollar Night View. The top of Mt.Rokko can be reached by the Rokko Cable Car.On the mountain, Top Loop Bus runs aroud Mt.Rokko.
At the top of the moutain there are a variety of leisure facilities including
the Rokkosan Pasture-Kobe Chees House, Rokko Garden Terrace, Rokko Musical Box Museum, Rokko Genghis Khan Palace and Rokko-san Country House.
