Meiji Jingu
This is a shrine sacred to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. It was built in 1920.Approximately 100,000 trees donated at the time of enshrinement form a solemn forest now. The Meiji Shrine has treasure museums and surrounding gardens. The shrine is crowded with visitors all year round.
