Former Hunter' House

This two-story wood sided house is eloquently designed. There are two unique bay windows, a staircase with arabesque patterning, and a beautiful mantelpiece.

From 1944, Mr.Hideo Kobayashi, the ex-president of Kobe Electric Railway, lived here.

For a long time it was known as the 'White House,' though is currently known as the 'Moegi House' because when it was renovated in 1987, it was repainted in its original light green.
There's a great view from the balcony on the second floor that includes Kobe city area in the distance.
